Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback Medvedev won his initial championship for 882 days with victory over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a former world number one, has experienced a torrid period, winning just one win at the major tournaments and suffering a setback at the New York tournament.
His inconsistency on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the world's top 10 and ultimately separating with long-time coach Gilles Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and his other coach, he has consistently advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a closely contested three-set victory over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's initial title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt after March of 2023.
The win also means the Russian has secured twenty-one victories at 21 various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a competition with my both daughters simultaneously, so to secure a trophy is really nice," stated ranked player Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter Victoria, because the maiden victory I achieved when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, including in the German tournament earlier this year.
His defensive strategy and recurring outbursts on the tennis court had prompted some to doubt if his skill to perform at the top level was concluded.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete aggressively, supported by an improved serve.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the first set against the difficult opponent, taking 4 of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his maiden tour title, took control to create a third set.
He saved four early opportunities in a competitive final set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to secure the win.
Fittingly, he clinched the title with a point at the net area, with his opponent unable to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
