British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
